The National Union of Rivers State Students (NURSS), Kenule Beeson Saro-wiwa Polytechnic Chapter, on Tuesday donated a suggestion box to the Mass Communication Students Association (MACOSA), Kenpoly Chapter.
The box was presented by the Kenpoly NURSS President, Jc. Ibuwarisaw Diepiriye during a familiarisation visit to the department at the MACOSA Secretariat.
In his speech, Jc. Ibuwarisaw said his administration decided to make the box available so that the department can collate certain suggestions from students, lecturers and whoever has ideas on how to move the department forward in particular, and the school at large.
Diepiriye further noted that any suggestion that is too much for the department to handle alone should be channeled to either NURSS or the SUG for it to be attended to.
On his part, the MACOSA President, Jc. Nwachi Frank Ejelam thanked NURSS for considering Mass Communication qualified to be beneficiary to such kind gesture.
Jc. Frank pledged to put the suggestion box into good use as he okayed that the box be hung immediately.
The NURSS President was accompanied by the SUG and NURSS Chief Judge, Hon. Justices Manson Leeleebari Aziaka and Liberty Mene respectively.
Also in the entourage were Jc. Dornanwii Jerry, President, Computer Science Department; Jc. Bamogho Prince, President, Science and Laboratory Technology; Jc. Gen. Afeeloo Possible and other dignitaries.
