Some of this structure that was build in the 80s and 90s is dilapidated to its unbearable state but the government have continued to ignore it, rather they find joy in buying luxurious cars for people who are already earning buoyantly, budgeting billions for projects that never sees the end of the day. We are doom if there is no change towards the attitude of government officials.

In Rivers State, On Monday the 16th day of November 2020, after the Governor His Excellency Nyeson Wike, approved the resumption of secondary Schools in the state. A report came in from a staff of Government Secondary School Luumene Bangha, located in Khana LGA of how a JSS1 student miraculously escape building collapse in the school.

Lumene Bagha Primary SchoolAccording to the statement he posted on his Facebook; the students that went into the building just walked three step away from the building before the ugly incident took place. I believe this student might be going through some shock haven’t imagine what might have been her fate on that day.

At the beginning of this year 2020, many person’s have expected numerous Development and improvement in the welfare of Nigerians. But this turn out to be the reverse as we have been mostly hit by some unprecedented circumstances; the increase in the number of coronavirus cases, unrest uproar which led to EndSars protest and other bad government policies which have left many Nigerians in a tight corner.

Moreover, among the challenges we are facing, there are some crucial sectors one would have expected the Government to continue to pay undivided attention to but they have failed us. Especially in the educational sector which have been proven to be the main Bain of any Society that is regarded as world developed country today.

One predominant edifice we continually see in our country today is the bad shambolic trap structures called secondary School especially public ones. Our children have no option but to go on a suicide mission as they enroll in this schools since the average Nigerians don’t have the money to cater for their wards education.

I therefore call on the Government of Nigeria, the Government of Rivers State and any well meaning Nigerians to come to the aid of the people of Bangha Kingdom to either reconstruct, renovate or erect a new befitting structure so as this young growing Nigerians can learn in a conducive environment.
